The beating
pounds harder
from time
to time
Roads she’s traveled
to places
near and abroad
Waiting
awhile
for this moment
to pass
To fulfill
her dream,
finally
at last
Patience
from birth
with no time
to waste
Success is so sweet
to her
for she hadn’t
a taste.
